Brand Identity
started by analyzing a case( concept, naming, typography, color scheme)
I’ve chosen
The Islands of the Bahamas is a brand identity and a campaign which sets goals to:

- Discover, capture, and communicate the unique essence of the Bahamas.
- Position the Bahamas as the preferred vacation choice.
- Distinguish the Islands of Bahamas from other sand and sea destination.
- Inspire the tourism office, the souvenir Manufactures, and the media to use the new identity.
- Logo Design:
- Element – leaf & water drop
- colors – rainbow color scheme + brown
- Font – Futura

Research
at this stage, I’ve started researching Arabic/English logo
Here’s what was concluded from the class regarding the Brand Identity:
1) Brand Identity :
- Memorial / Bold / appropriate.
- Clear/ consistent image.
- legally protected.
- with value.
- cross media/scale
2) Vision
- Predict future.
- Meaningful.
- Coherence.
- Unique – differentiation.
- Flexibility.
- Sustainability – not temporarily (fashion of design).
- Commitment.
- value.
3) Research/ Analyze:
- Brand strategy.
- Design concept.
- Brand expression.
- Managing assist.

what was concluded after the meeting is that:
The image of the logo should reflect:
* Care + support the community.
* High quality & innovation.
* fulfill a need for knowledge.
Adjective revealed:
1. Caring & friendly
2. Innovative
3. Responsible
Design Approached:
* Not too abstract.
* Satiety & direct.
* circular & rectangular shape is preferable.
Elements could be used:
* Hand
* Arrow
* Sun ray
* link / bridge

Here I’ve started to sketch:







Logo Concept:
The logo illustrate the concept of Zayed Institute stretching out, building a bridge with the community, reaching the three drawn paths of training, continuing education, and community service. Zayed Institute aims for out reaching the local communities, extending to the middle east, & beyond.
With the red color boosting the energy, red logo goes for Training department.
While the Education department gets the blue logo, by the spring of knowledge & education Zayed Institute waters the community.
& by the green logo, the Community Service department of Zayed Institute flourish & plant the community with its services.
For a better present & brighter future Zayed Institute aims.
That was the blueprint of ZICE logo …
